Last week,
Time magazine did a great piece on chemical dangers in the environment. This comes a few months after the FDA expressed concerns over the safety of bisphenol A (BPA), a compound found in many plastics. The concern is especially grave for unborn children as reports have shown that
BPA crosses the placenta.
There are toxins everywhere. We'll do a short series on these chemical compounds, the sources and what we can do about them. Browse through the Time magazine article as it gives a good primer on this important topic.
